WP 1 Speech perception and production in interaction
Niels O. Schiller is professor of psycho- and neurolinguistics at Leiden University. He is a member of the Faculties of Humanties and Social Sciences as well as of the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). Furthermore, he is a member of the board of the Leiden Institute for Brain and Cognition (LIBC).
His research interests comprise phonological and morphological encoding in speech production, language processing in neurologically impaired patients, articulatory-motor processes during speech production, and forensic phonetics.
Niels Schiller presents his research frequently in the media (newspaper, radio and TV) and takes part in activities to involve a broader audience in his research, such as Science Cafés.
